Terms and Conditions

Use of the terms “we”, “our” and “us” refers to Paranormal Experiences. Use of the terms “client”, “Customer”, “you” and “your” refers to you, the client.

1. All customers and participants at events will be no younger than 17 years of age.

2. Within the UK is against the law to smoke inside a place of work and a public building, where permitted a smoking zone maybe nominated by the location.

3. We advise that people of a nervous disposition, those on heavy medication and pregnant woman seek relevant medical advice from their GP before attending an event. Some events will last into the early hours of the morning, some experiences during the event and especially under low level to zero lighting could cause distress. We will not take responsibility for your action or inaction.

4. You are expected to be civil to others, respectful of their beliefs and needs. You will not aggravate, cause distress, intimidate or otherwise threaten any other customer or member of staff. You will never place yours or someone else’s life at risk. When attending, during and leaving the event you will do so with respect for local residents. Failure to comply may result in the police being called. In these instances you will not be refunded any monies what so ever.

5. Various locations around the UK are not suitable for customers with some disabilities, we do aim to provide locations which provide a good level of access for all without discrimination however it simply is not always possibly due to conditions of the location. If you are unsure about a location then we advise you contact us for more information first through our contact forms.

6. It is your sole responsibility to dress appropriately for the event, we do provide guidelines on the Paranormal Experiences website, however they are just that and not a requirement. You take full responsibility for all your articles of clothing, any equipment your bring along and any other valuable and personal belongings. Furthermore it is also your responsibility to take appropriate precautions to avoid any parking fines, find suitable transport and make any other necessary travel arrangements.

7. Under no circumstances will you be permited to consume any alcohol or illegal drugs, you must also not attend under the influence. If you are suspected of being under the influence you will be refused access and asked to leave in these circumstance and where a crime may have been committed then the local authorities will be informed. In these instances you will not be refunded any monies what so ever. It will be at the sole desecration of the location staff and/or the Paranormal Experiences staff  to evict you and anyone else in your party if your conduct is found to be disorderly or inappropriate.

8. On some events you maybe able to make sleeping arrangements, however unless expressly stated then non is provided by Paranormal Experiences.

9. It is your sole responsibility to take care of your own personal belongings including any equipment you bring along. Paranormal Experiences will not be held responsible in anyway, shape or form, this includes any purported paranormal experiences.

10. You agree that you fully comprehend your attendance at any Paranormal Experiences events is confirmation we accept no liability for any accident, incident or other injury to any customer regardless of how it is caused. We asses the properties prior to commencement of any event and aim to provide you advice of any issues or hazards which cannot be eliminated. Most events will be run in low level lighting to nil lighting at all, you should take cation in all your actions and make yourself familiar with the surroundings and building layout whilst lit. We accept no responsibility what so ever.

11. From time to time and due to circumstances beyond our control events maybe cancelled, in these circumstances you will be given the option to either select an alternate event or receive a full refund. Should an event be cancelled we will make every effort to inform you through text message, a phone call and e-mail where applicable.

12. Where events are primarily outside the customer understands that weather conditions can cause undesirable affects and therefore Paranormal Experiences reserves the right to relocate the investigation within a 15 mile radius to another suitable venue or postpone the event to another date. In these instances alternate dates will offered to you to a like for like event.

13. You respect and understand that advice, discussions and training given on events is the opinion of the individual and not a representation of all staff present or Paranormal Experiences as a company. The paranormal is a highly opinionated subject, everyone should be respectful of each other.

14. Paranormal Experiences aim to provide an insight in to what is commonly accepted as a paranormal investigation. We do not proclaim to be divinely connected and we do proclaim to run strict scientific research. We aim to provide what is commonly accepted as a Paranormal Experiences.

15. Tiredness Kills. Because of the nature of our events we advise you take appropriate precautions travel to and from events, this might include booking yourself into a local B&B or hotel.

16. Our terms and conditions will be enforced under English Law. These terms and conditions are non-negotiable, by booking and attending you confirm your acceptance.

REFUND POLICY

1. All deposits are non-refundable.

2. Bookings cancelled within 30 days of the scheduled event will not be eligible a discount. However under special circumstances and at our desecration you maybe permitted to transfer the monies to another event, no refund will be issued. We reserve the right to charge an admin fee of 20% or £10 per ticket, which ever is greatest.

3. Bookings cancelled 6 weeks or more before the scheduled event will receive a refund of 50% or given the option to transfer the monies to another event. We reserve the right to charge an admin fee of 20% or £10 per ticket, which ever is greatest.

4. Bookings cancelled 8 weeks or more before the scheduled event will receive a refund of 75% or given the option to transfer the monies to another event. We reserve the right to charge an admin fee of 20% or £10 per ticket, which ever is greatest.

If for any reason you are unable to attend then please let us know at your earliest convenience, even if it is last minute so that we may advise the staff on the event.

Release of Liability

Upon booking and being permitted to participate in any Event, you hereby waive, release, and forever discharge, Paranormal Experiences, its staff, its management, administrators and legal representatives, any and all rights and/or claims which you have, may have, or may hereafter accrue to you against the Organiser, its officers, directors, employees, consultants, agents and Event sponsors for any and all damages, injuries (including death), and/or claims which may be sustained by me directly or indirectly arising out of my participation in any Event (including the application of emergency or medical services at the Event) even if the damages, injuries (including death), and/or claims are caused by the negligence of those persons listed above or otherwise.

Further, you covenant not to sue the Organiser, its officers, owners, employees, consultants, agents and Event sponsors for any and all damages, injuries (including death), and/or claims which may be sustained by me directly or indirectly arising out of my participation in any Event.

This release and discharge includes, but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, death, property damage, economic loss, breach of contract, lost wages, contribution indemnity, indemnity, punitive damages, negligence, or any other legally recognisable claim arising out of my participation in any Event (including all legal costs associated with such claims).
